I've been thinking a plain jane .45acp carbine that takes (relatively) inexpensive subgun mags (grease gun, perhaps?) would be a great little gun. Anyone know of a company making something like that?

There is a company called bazooka brothers that makes one, price is around 1200 bucks though, I want a pistol cal carbine but a cmmg bargain bin m4 and a 9mm upper gives me twice the fun for the same cash. In any case I've heard good things about bazooka bros, the name is a little goofy but thats the trend these days anyways.

What about an MSAR carbine? I may be way off, but I believe the planned price will be about $800.00 (if they ever make one).

    :)

I'm just wishing more AR makers will start offering .40 S&W uppers, both carbine and pistol length. Federal 40 for $15 a box at Wally World is hard to beat.

I said the same thing about the RFB, they said "I don't want your money or your shrine". :(

Yea...like the Olympic 45acp AR's... the older ones took 45 caliber UZI mags...talk about hens teeth and the price of gold!!!

I did manage to acquire 10 of those 16 round 45 caliber UZI mags though!
