I know the feds nailed the guy selling the .50 kits that basically just required assembly.

Is anyone selling kits now with an 80% receiver, like with an AR?
I am not aware of any. Perhaps nobody is bothering because of the .50 AR uppers that are available. Anybody have any additional info?

You can do this one youself www.maadigriffin.com

I think Paladin Press sells the Bill Holmes book on building your own .50 www.paladin-press.com

There was another one out there on the net but I can't remember what the site was called. If I can find it I'll post it.

Here's a company with a pretty awsome looking .50 upper that hooks on to your AR-15 style lower. They have a model with an 18" barrell - How's that for a compact .50 BMG!

I think the rifle looks pretty darn purdy too - unlike some of those other .50 designs...

Thanks for the replies, but unless I'm missing something, none of those sell 80% receivers.

    So do you want a 80% AR lower or a 80% .50 BMG receiver/rifle?

There are no 80% .50's out there, the Maadi Griffin kits are no longer sold. There are a few companies that are selling just the receivers so that people in Kali can get it before the ban. They will have to be sent back to be finished when your ready.

The latest Shotgun News has an ad from a company selling several types of .50 cal rifles. They also sell completed receivers.
