Anyone see "Gangs of New York"?

    PC storytelling aside, it was a good show.


    There was some good action scenes. One thing that stood out in my mind though was that the obese rich guy with the two Colt revolvers should have taken out more than one BG before being overwhelmed by the mob.

    It was entertaining.

    there is a good article in Smithsonian mag about the real gangs of new york and interesting tidbits about how the film was made.

    I liked Leo's other one better. Catch Me If You Can was pretty good.

    I can't watch Leo's movies anymore. Whenever he is onscreen, his huge misshapen skull morbidly fascinates me to the point where I lose track of the plot. It first became really noticeable in "The Man in the Iron Mask." I wonder if he has Proteus Syndrome (Elephant Man's disease).
