Anyone seen this before?

Going through a old box from when we moved in five years ago.
Found a knife. Generic no name linerlock. But what makes it interesting is that it says 440C on one side of the blade, and Made in China, Headquartered in USA on the other.
Any thought on who made it?

Could be one of a few dozen companies. 440C is common stainless steel, and Made in China doesn't say much either.
