I looked at the NEF (H&R) 50 and 54 cal rifles when they first hit the market but have yet to talk to anyone that has purchased/shot one of these rifles. Any coments, problems, any input?

Fellow had one up at the range a couple of months ago who shot a group you could about cover with a half dollar. The rifle had fairly good balance, and you can't beat the price!

Yep, I owned one of the H&R's 25 some years ago in .58 cal.

Shoulder STILL winces thinking about some of the hell fer stout loads I ran through it.

Good value for a non-traditional and fairly easy to maintain if the new ones are like my older one.
