anyone use a hight standard hi-standard model b 22 semi pistol

    does anyone have any experience with a hi-standard model b 22 semi? about how much are they worth? i see one at ebang for about $250 and it is C&R okay so i thougth it would be a good plinker.

    You've got a grand old historical artifact.

    High Standard went on to make some truly excellent .22 long rifle and .22 short match pistols. The model B was a mighty fine plinker in its day.

    Finding parts for it is well nigh impossible. Finding gunsmiths to work on it is miles past impossible.

    I have a nice one that my father-in-law gave me...circa 1950...works well, nicely made, generally a fun gun to shoot.
