Anyone used this (new follower for a P22 mag)?

I just found this when looking for pics of mag followers, has anyone used it? Other than missing the lockback provision, it looks pretty good. http://www.magazineparts.com/productDisplay.php?id=P3
Any input would be appreciated.

If it is good, finally, a way to have more than 10 rounds in my P22!

My only concern would be constantly forgetting how many rounds I shot and the repeated dry firing that the gun would get.

You can do the same thing by cutting down the factory follower.

I was considering that, but i didn't want to screw up a $30 mag (didn't know where to get replacement followers at that time) and this costs all of $6. So, no one (yet) has ever used these, and can tell if they are unreliable?

Seems like a very good way to over-compress the magazine spring and ruin it prematurely.

The factory follower is designed to prevent that.

I have a couple of those followers . . .

1) They are +2, no matter what they advertise.
2) You will miss the slide lock on empty, very quickly.
3) Over compresses spring. Wears out MUCH quicker.
4) Tends to bind sooner, when it gets dirty.
