Just a completely hypothetical question here.

If you have a pistol and you put a foreward grip on it that a AOW and a stock makes the gun a SBR. So what if you put a foreward grip on a gun that extend from the bottom and is also a stock? Which is it or can it be both?

A rifled firearm (under 26" OAL and/or under 16" barrel) "designed or redesigned to fire from the shoulder" is the definition of what we call a "Short Barreled Rifle," under Title II of the National Firearms Act.

Can't really picture the gizmo you're describing, though.

If I understand your question correctly, it is just an SBR

For example: If you have an AR15 registered as an SBR and you put a forward grip on it, it's still an SBR.

If I understand correctly, the shoulder stock you are proposing would attach to the bottom of the forward grip. By Sam's comment it'd be a SBR.
