I decided I wanted a bayonet for my AR. Not because I needed one, but just because I wanted one. Seriously, I think of it as a historical artifact more than anything, and thought I’d get one while they’re available. I had heard they were pretty cheap, but at a recent gunshow, most of them were in the $40 to $50 price range, for well used models. The only cheap price I saw, was one vendor who had them for $25 bucks, but they were in very poor condition with cracked sheaths and chipped blades. After returning home I decided to look on the Internet, and found new unissued ones on CDNN for $28. I thought I’d share this info with others, because these are in such nice shape. If you're looking for one, you might want to consider CDNN, instead of the beater gunshow ones. Here are a few pictures. Even with the $10 shipping this is still the best deal I've seen, considering the condition.

I, for one, appreciate you posting that, I order from CDNN at least once a year. The $10 shipping sucks for one item, so I tend to buy a dozen things, which is what they wanted me to do in the first place......

I've long thought about getting a bayo for my AR, but like you, I didn't want some old piece of junk on my pretty Black Rifle. I bet I wind up with one pretty soon!

Glad you found it useful. I don't like the $10 shipping for one item, either. Still even with the shipping price, it was still cheaper than the well used gun show bayos.
