Ar-15 Question

I have a new Colt 6940 and would like to put on a drop in magpul MOE stock, However I do not know if I have a Commercial receiver extension tube or a Military receiver extension tube. My rifle is new does anyone know which one I should get for a COLT 6940?

My gut says Colt = Military...

Common sense isn't always right though....

Colt use 1.14" diameter mil-spec tubes.
