Question for you guys. I have a Smith and Wesson M&P AR, that I received a Tasco Red Dot for Christmas. I still have the Military style front sight post, so to get the red dot to be useful, I had to use a UTG riser. SO... with the MBUS REAR sight from Magpul, mounted BEHIND the red dot, I can't utilize the rear sight, unless it's laid down, and then the sight apertures are flipped up. Is that still accurate as it sits, or do I have no option but to ditch the MBUS sight?

I'd like to still use the MBUS if possible, it seems it would be accurate this way as well...

If the riser is the right height, you should be able to look through your rear aperture, see the red dot and the front sight and they should line up. Here is a picture showing "Absolute Co-Witness" and "1/3 Co-Witness
