    Greetings,

I know an AR lower that is used for 9mm needs a different hammer but the remaining of the parts are the same. Simple question a stripped lower in .308, does it use the same set of an AR-15 lower in .223 or it is a special set?

    Thank you

Some parts are the same but the mag catch, bolt catch and takedown pins are different.

    Greetings,

I saw on gunbroker they have kits for .308...I guess they have some difference.

One other question. I made the math: buying a whole new gun: around 900$ (DPMS Sportical)

Buying the cheapest lower (DPMS), parts (DPMS) and upper (Various companies): around 1200$

What is the catch? Is there any other place that I could find cheaper parts and be able to build one under the around 900$?

    Thank you
