This letter is too whomever here visits ar15.com.

Firstly I would like to apologize for cluttering your message board here with this drivel but I want to get the word out on this.

Recently some things have happened at AR15.com and I went and said some things purposely to cause trouble, knowing that I would get kicked off the website. For my own stupidity I am ok with that.

What I am not ok with is the fact that they have some personal vendetta against me or something and since my friend who lives with me, shares this computer with me, he got banned as well because the nazi staff members over there don't think.

Just a word of advise to anyone who visits AR15.com, be very weary.

Thanks for listening.

Eh, I'll just avoid causing trouble just to piss people off. Seems to be working well so far.

I generally avoid causing trouble as well.. especially since I am an owner and operator of a M1911 related site, want to keep their name clean. But I was trying to make a point.

As for my being banned from the site I don't care, I do not wish to use it anymore.. However my friend did nothing and if he wants to keep visiting that site he should be allowed too, not locked because of association.

Usually they ban by IP. If he's using the same computer, he's banned because you're banned. He should have no problem logging on from a different computer.

Once again...

You used your friend's computer. The problem with this is the folks at ar15.com can see what the IP address a given poster is using... so, they take a look at yours, remember it, ban you, and notice there's another account with the same IP... now, is it the same guy, or is it really a different dude, same computer? They can't tell for certain, so they just ban the account.

Your friend is pretty much SOL.

BTW, calling the 'Nazis' isn't exactly taking the high road....

Lots of sites on the Internet like that. They, like many others, do it because they can and because it makes them feel powerful.

Though, it does sound like you were IP banned. That'll affect anyone using your connection.

I do apologize for the name calling, I am just a little bitter.

They didn't notice anything...

Thebeekeeper made a rediculous statement about how "no one from the az crew is locked" and my friend pointed out simply that I am locked. Beekeeper made an asumption thinking he was me and banned him.

I don't really want yall to be caught up in my BS I just wanted to warn everyone on how they act over there.

To recap:

1. You INTENTIONALLY provoked them into banning you. :neener:
2. When they banned you, you came to THR to whine about it. :barf:

What in the world makes you think we care about your grade school soap opera. I see you've been here at THR for about a month. Welcome. This is a shooting forum, not the Dr. Phil Show.

SunBear,
Hate to reiterate, but I am of the same ilk as you. I do not go to that board, and am concerned with THR and nothing else.

Uh, Sunbear... re-read that. He's not complaining about his own banning. His point seems to be about his roomy getting banned in a guilt-by-association type of deal.

Sunbear,

I don't care about my banning.. Amish hit it right on the head.

Anyway, sorry about the "whining" I just feel bad for my friend and I want the problem to be known.

I'll drop the subject. Once again I apologize.

Thanks for the welcome however.. I do plan on talking guns here.

It seems to have been quite a dust over there. There's more drama on that site than I ever experienced growing up with 4 sisters, and that's saying something. There's some good AR15 info to be had, but you have to sift through a lot of "stuff".

There was a big blow up involving maglights and some of the Cav Arms guys in the AZ part of the board. Seems like he was mixxed up with that. Looked like a pretty rotten deal all the way around.

AR-15.com has some great info and very knowledgeable folks. Unfortunately, they also have a few blow-hards who post a lot and look for any opprotunity to beat up on newbies. I guess it makes them feel extra tactical.
