Looks like the H&K from 25 years ago

Too big; too bulky. For an "AR", I'd prefer a Bushmaster.

I stock lots of Vector guns. (they are right down the road) I also sell a lot of ARs.

It really depends on what you are looking for. They are both quality weapons, and it really depends on what you want to get out of the gun. The V series is different, and you'll probably be the only guy at the range with one. If this is your first/only evil black rifle, the AR is a lot more common, easy to customize, and find parts for.

But it does have such a cool factor to it. JK ;) Seriously though they are pretty neat rigs but to this point I have only held one and not shot one. Love some input and critique of one. Any one know where to get mags for reasonable?

Best I've seen for HK-X3 series, is about $35 each for used 40rndrs.

Just to throw it out there, Cohaire Arms is making an integrally suppressed HK54 clone that uses AR-15 magazines.

It's a two stamp gun if you want a stock on it otherwise it's just the suppressor with a pistol.

    Check it out.
