Interesting handguns, Gentlemen. They look like they would be a lot of fun. I am assuming these fire .22 Long Rifle due to the lack of a buffer, correct?

I’ve been wanting to do this myself. Where do you find the end caps. One with a sling swivel would be nice. EC3B1864-C48D-4157-9669-C910C3F9A36D.jpeg

Right To Bear Arms and Supply carries both the Spike's Tactical and Model 1 end caps. The Model 1 does not take a quick disconnect swivel, the Spike's does have a QD slot. Right now the Spike's is in stock and the Model 1 is out. It was just the opposite a couple of weeks ago when I ordered my parts. I would have preferred the Spike's since it is cheaper and has the QD slot but went with the Model 1 since it was in stock at the time.

Are you going to obey the Federal NFA and pay the $200 Tax on this? If not, forget about it. If you life elsewhere then nevermind.
Why would I give the government $200.00 to own a legally registered handgun with a pistol brace on it?
If you find that shocking check this out, yup it’s a legally registered pistol also.

So is this device suppose to prevent it for using it as buttstock? I rather not have to argue with a Police Officer about what the device actually is. Or worse, arrest me.

If you are uncomfortable with using an arm brace then don't use/own one. For the rest of us, we will enjoy them as longs we can. This subject has come up a bit here and braces are very legal. Don't complain if someone has one.

And as far as the end cap, it gets threaded into the rear of the receiver in place of a buffer tube. With the two end caps that I linked, there is no way to attach an arm brace or stock to the pistol. Look at the picture I posted in the original post.

Thanks for your help with who to get the Spikes receiver plug through. I don’t know why but it made me get out the 25 round mag’s again. I can’t get to the range again till this Tuesday but it feels good in the hands. 4 1/4 lbs. unloaded that should tame the recoil from them CCI Velocitors. What crazy old men won’t do for crazy fun.

I finally took mine to the range yesterday. It's pretty accurate at 25 yards for being what it is. I only had my short 15 round magazines with me yesterday but had no problem keeping every shot in the orange bullseye on a Caldwell Orange Peel 8" target. I thought for sure that I would have to readjust the PA micro dot since the last time I used it was on my AR22 with 16" barrel and the 1/3 lower co-witness riser. As you can see I took the riser off. I was pleasantly surprised that the red dot was dead on. I didn't have to make a single adjustment.

You're welcome. Right to Bear has become my goto for anything AR22 related. Their own branded barrels and bolts are made by CMMG and good to go. They have good prices and usually fast shipping. Having such a short 22 with a 25 round magazine is just plain fun

I hope that I’m so lucky to do so well.

The trick to shooting a short 22 like this is either from a bench or use a sling. I like using a sling and pushing the pistol out against the sling for stability.
