Gather parts for an ar47 build when I get back home, realized I need mags for said beast. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated.
 
I used to buy my specialty AR mags at North River Distributors LLC, but it seems they are out of business, or at least their website is gone.

But I would stick with C-Products mags for the 7.62x39, they have the best reputation. I have both C-Products and ASC mags and haven't had problems with either.

You can find C-Products mags at Joe Bob's Outfitters as well, they are a good company to order from as well.
 
I like the old Russian satellite countries steel mags the best. With that said I've used Tapco with no problems. I am also going to try out Magpul next time around.
 
Are we talking about a 7.62x39 AR using a standard style lower and magazines, or a dedicated AR47 lower that uses AK47 magazines?

Good point, I assumed that he meant a standard AR lower with a STANAG magwell. Good catch.
