Are 11-87 compatible between right/left handed guns?

A long time back I bought a rifle sighted barrel for 11-87 by mistake. ( dealer told me it would fit my 870 and I hadn't looked at in a while ) After a bit of t research I think 11-87 is worth having. I found an 11-87 for 450$ which seems great but it's a left handed gun.

Are the barrels interchangeable between left & right handed guns or does the lefty extraction make that a no go?

An 11-87 barrel is no way going to fit an 870. Not interchangeable between left and right either. You need a smarter dealer.

In this case I think that dealer was smarter than me. 50$ learning fee....

What I need is a right handed 1187 with a VR barrel
