Over the past few weeks I have started seeing a bit more reloading supplies. Picked up a 1000 Federal Large Magnum pistol primers tonight (leaving several boxes on the shelf for the next guy) at my local store and last week they had a shelf full of Green Dot. All prices were non- inflated. I have also noted pretty good ammo selection, but I rarely buy factory loads and wasn't too interested in that. I am hoping it is a small sign of a return to something approaching normal. Any thoughts? How is it in your area?

In my area it is still hard to find anything like factory ammo, especially the popular calibers. Reloading supplies are hard to find as well. I'm in southern CA now.

Bass Pro in Gainesville Florida: no ammo, no primers, no powder and the employees are disinterested in talking to customers. Local gun stores around NFl are trying to get ammo but it is sparse and expensive. No reloading supplies to be found.

Our local Ace Hardware had some 9mm and 40 on the shelf. I left it because I reload those and have all I need. Saw some powder on Reloading Everything yesterday, but it is all gone now except for 50 BMG powder and black powder. Might be a glimmer of normalcy coming back.

I have seen some obscure powders, absolutely no primers, some bullets. So I would say no it isn't getting better in Colorado at this time.

In the last week, I have found some locally. I got 200 LPP, 200 SPP and 200 SRP. Also got 200 rounds of Winchester 9mm and 1000 rounds of .22 LR. All at normal prices.

LGS has a bunch of red dot powder. Not much else for loading supplies. ( They have pallets of loaded ammo for sale at 2X the normal price though - and folks are still snapping it up )

    Hi...
Southcentral Pennsylvania is practically devoid of primers, reloading bullets and powders.
Find a few primers here and there, jacketed bullets(none anywhere) and very limited powders. Haven't seen TAC, Unique, 2400, Blue Dot, Bullseye or H110/W296 in months and months.

In the Tulsa OK area you can get bullets and powder.
One LGS will sell you one box of primers per 100 bullets.

The local Sportsman's Warehouse had three boxes of 9mm FMJ or TMJ bullets on the shelf this evening- 1000 projectiles for $209. That's in the same range as what loaded brass case range ammo was running just over a year ago.

I was able to get 2000 small rifle primers at sportsman’s warehouse yesterday. They also had a few boxes of factory ammunition in popular calibers except 22 lr. These are the first have heard of them having since October of last year.

Local WalMart had a fair amount of 22’s, limit 3 boxes. Cabelas gets primers in every so often but gone in a couple hours.

I think things are starting to return though I truly feel there is still a lot of hoarding going on right now. I keep a comfortable supply of components based on my level of shooting, but was in need of large pistol primers so I did buy the brick. I could have bought the others on the shelf, but figured someone else could use them more. Same with the Greendot, there were twelve bottles and I took three. That amount of powder will get me through the dry patch, but another individual came in and bought the remaining nine bottles (according to the clerk) which seems a bit greedy in my opinion and they will probably be on Gunbroker shortly at considerably higher prices than the $31 they were selling for at the store.

I'm in Massachusetts , LGS had ammo at prices I wouldn't pay , Cabela's has been having ammo and reloading components in stock but you better get there early.

Gastonia nc academy has a following on Friday morning at open. Line for ammo with w 2 box limit. There are a considerable amount of friends getting ammo this way.

The big part will be when these people feel there is enough ammo to shoot some and not just wait in line every Friday to stock their shelf

I would say reloading components are more available online, not so much in stores. The key, at least in Dallas, where we have a large shooting population, is knowing when your LGS or Big Box gets the delivery trucks in, or you have the hookup in the back room. Of those, there are two basic varieties... those that buy stuff for themselves, and those that buy it to resell it at a profit. It is what it is.

Prices are another thing... I've seen inflated prices here and there, online and B&M. Some of that is what the store is being charged, some of that is likely profiteering (for reasons good and bad.)

Nothing here. Our best LGS got a bunch of guns in last week but they were backordered from last September. No powder or primers and very few bullets. There was 4 or 5 bags/boxes of brass in odd calibers, but that was all. I have plenty of everything but 22 and 6.5 bullets. Found some 30 cal at Graf's.

Nothing here in Florida at most stores; one gun range has ammo made in Alabama. With 1000 people fleeing the north and coming here every month, things will probably remain tight for a while.
