I always see Nosler 30 cal 168 Competition bullets on sale for considerably less than Sierra's. Are they equal in regards to quality and accuracy? Thanks!

A great question! All brands use different gliding metal composition and internal materials. Sometimes one brand will just not work well in a particular firearm. I am a fan of CoreLokt bullets for hunting at 200 YDS or less I get good accuracy/performance and they are relatively inexpensive so that is a bonus. I had one Savage 308 that I never could get to shoot smaller than a 3 inch group with them though. Any other bullet would work much better (MOA or less) with little effort. So no CoreLokt for that rifle. I do not shoot any of those match bullets nor mine at any serious target ranges as I am more into hunting ammo to know real world how they compare but will be watching for answers from those that use them extensively as an inexpensive option is always welcome should I choose to go for distance more often when target shooting.

ETA: I do prefer my Sierra Grand Slams in all my 270's though.

Only way to know if they'll shoot for you is to try them but Nosler makes good stuff. For the price I would absolutely try them before Sierra

I can't tell much difference between Sierra, Hornady, and Nosler match bullets. I suspect that Sierra might be slightly better, but not worth the premium price IMO.
