On a gold site that I post to, someone posted that there was a bill or something that was to add the mini and the carbine to the list of assault weapons that is supposed to sunset but they want to extend.

No bill number was cited and I was unable to Google search anything on it.

Anyone know if this is true or able to cite the bill?

Oh, and after you read it, call, write, fax, email, or publically accost your representatives/senators and tell them you will not support them if they renew or extend the ban.

This ought to be a wake-up call for Ruger whose founder helped enact mag capacity limits and didn't think the AW ban would ever affect his Mini-14. Ha, ha, HA, how you like it NOW Ruger, huh!? Is it such a great idea NOW?!

Justice4all says it all. Diane Fineswine once said that if she had it her way, Mr. and Mrs. America would turn in all their guns right now.

It's not about semi-autos or evil features. It's about all our rights.

Hopefully, Bill Ruger saw the error in his decision to appease the anti's prior to his death. He was a businessman and all he could see was the loss of $$$ if they classified his Mini-14 the same as the AR-15. I don't think he ever considered the actual consequences this decision would have on the future of American freedom. Since he is dead, I'm willing to cut him a little slack and forgive him for his choice.

However, politicians like Diane Frankenstien will never be forgiven and deserve to spend time in the hotter regions following death.

Bill Ruger thought he could dance with the devil and get away with it.

He was wrong, and now that he's gone no one will raise a stink about his precious Mini 14 as the statists pry them away before they can even get to our hands.
