Any one use this holster? Is it better than the Summer Special 2? For my Glock 23.
I have the crossbreed supertuck but sometimes the ss2 is more comfortable. I also am looking at the ARG.

at first i thought this was going to be a pirate thread :)

i had a summer special over 20 years and like the way it adjust to my body as i move. the ARG is thinner because the point of attachment to the belt is "under" the butt of the gun rather than "atop" the slide.

it is also meant to pull the butt of the gun tighter to the body. it couldn't hurt as the butt of the Glock is pretty thick...i have a Glock 19...but then the gun is thick to begin with, so adding thickness to the slide area would be bad too.

i no longer carry IWB due to back issues, my preferred carry method is currently with a paddle holster, but the Glock belt slide works very well also

I've been using a Mitch Rosen ARG IWB holster for about ten years (same holster). When I bought it the ARG stood for "Ayoob Rear Guard," but my understanding is that Rosen and Ayoob had some sort of falling out.

Whatever.

It's a very good holster. I bought one of the slimline models, as they had them ready to ship. No problems, holds pistol snug, but draws fast.
