Armadillo Machine Primer Pre Order

Has anyone ordered any from them ? Looks like same deal as North Fork. I ordered some but now the website is down.
 
Wasn't there another business in the same area doing a presale as well?
I don't have a dog in this hunt, but on a positive note, I could see where one person might prefer to have some like-minded business partners in lieu taking on a transaction of this size all by himself.
 
I also ordered from 5k from Armadillo and I spoke to the owner before placing the order. He is Noah’s partner from North Fork Tactical. It is the same shipment. When I spoke to him a couple weeks ago, they were waiting for approval of Noah’s FFL, and then they can submit for their import permit. Seems like the step of having the FFL in place was missed.

does Armadillo have a FFL?

The response I got was they're waiting on the Feds to get the paperwork done. I hope that's the same issue stated a different way.
 
Yes, Armadillo had an FFL. He was hopeful North Fork’s FFL approval was any day. If you look back on the armadillo website, the timing for primer delivery is changed to August. When I spoke to him (Armadillo owner), he was thinking July was realistic though. He was also working on some type of written communication update for his customers. I’m sure he was busy but he took quite a bit of time to chat with me on the phone about what was going on. It makes me a believer in both him and Noah, and I have orders with both of them. I will stick with them as I think they will deliver ultimately.

I'm cancelling my order. Was hopeful for 40k primers.
 
For those interested, I had placed an order initially with Armadillo Arms. After getting the updated shipping info, I requested a refund which was processed with no issues. The money was back in my account in 2-3 days.
 
It is good that they are being so accommodating. I hope things get ironed out.
FWIW it was not uncommon to order $ 700 or more five times a year from the likes of Powder Valley or Natchez for Haz-Mat stuff when I was shooting most nights.

I have not received any update.
 
From Powder Valley "Foreign primers are coming into the US for OEM only use which will allow for some relief on the US manufacturers." It's on their site and I am sure some have read the info...
 
I spoke to Armadillo Arms today about the primer order. He is in on the shipment with Noah from North Fork Tactical. I had put orders in with both of these guys. Sounds like they made good progress and the meeting with the ATF they were waiting for finally happened and they are now waiting just for their final import permit. He’s hopeful it will be in about four weeks time.
