Hi, I just picked up this revolver over the weekend. Its an Arms co (not Armscor) 22LR 7 shot. All I know is that its made in the USA by Armsco, in Nashville Tennessee sometime back in the 60's. I hope someone with knowledge of this pistol can give me some history and back ground. It is steel (magnet test) except for the access plate on the side (which is either aluminum or Zamak).

Arms Corporation of America is the full company name

I found a few hits on a google search. One guy claims that it was made by the Friedman's Army Navy Surplus Store in a suburb of Nashville, and he says you can call Friedmans today at (615) 297-3343 for more info. I have no idea if this guy is telling the truth. He says he bought one from Friedmans for $19 about 40 years ago, but they were put on sale for $12 occasionally.
