Yeah. Right. Kind of like those "prickly First Amendment concerns."

    Leftist extremists are such hypocrites!

Those prickly Constitutional concerns can get in the way but I have confidence in the ability of those who dislike other people's rights to redefine the issues so as to supress them.

I'm often annoyed by people who say things I prefer not to hear, so I might work on redefining the issues to avoid the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech. After that prickly concern is accomplished there are several other Constitutional rights that deserve attention too, first among them being Freedom of the Press. The press annoys me very much.

Fortunately the horizon is unlimited when it comes to denying rights to people we don't like. Change is needed. Change will come. It's so much more fun being the changers than it is to be one of the changees, but they don't matter as long as the changers can redefine the issues.

A lot more positives than negatives will be emerging in the near future.

Maybe the august law makers should try to limit criminals instead of guns.

    Naaah! Too obvious!

I think that the NYT is investing more hope in passage of these laws than is warrented. They may get a few passed in CA and NY, where there are already invasive laws, but it doesn't look like they are even going to be able to get Illinois to adopt additional gun laws much less any other state. This is a whole bunch of nothing.

They seek to take guns away from the citizen who will protect his family and home but they never talk about how they intend to take guns away from the criminals? Hmmmm!
