hello everyone my local sporting goods has nomad shotguns for 99.00 they are single shot, has anyone bought any of theses and if so are they any good ? i know they have a life time warranty . thank you for your feedback in advance .

i got a kahn 410 folding single awhile back as a 50 state, and all canada (declared at border), ok car trunk gun. it is easily secured in a nondescript gym bag. it works well enough, though i wish it automatically ejected spent rounds. i feed it handgun-specific 410 defensive ammo too. if i played with it more i should add pistol ammo adaptors. it appears that all of these folding singles come out of the same turkish factory. good deals for a c-note. 410 ammo even remains on wm shelves after the wuhan flu panic buying.

I'd go with the 20ga as it is more common and the cost of the shells is lower. If you shoot low base shells the recoil will be similar to the .410 as the gun weighs more. I've owned both over the years and much prefer the 20's pattern to the 410.
410 = 4.75 lbs
20 = 5.35 lbs

I got the 20 for my 11 year old so that he could try clays. He fired 1 round, I fired 2. It was brutal. To me, the gun is too light, and the grip is too straight to deal with the recoil, causing the comb to kiss my cheek, and the trigger guard to smack my fingers. As a backpack survival gun or truck gun (like the new owner plans to do), I think it would suit well, but nothing that I would want to shoot regularly.
