Anyone know of any other BP forums or parts folks or auctions that i can search for Seneca parts ?
All i have so far is desire and a factory stock.

Not so sure that these triggers fits everything claimed.

    http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categories/PartDetail.aspx/667/1/PLUG-TC-13-9

Here is a breech plug, now just get a length of 13/16 barrel in desired caliber.
The lock may be hard to find and you might have to use whichever one you find that is close enough. Keep prowling the auction sites and eventually you should be able to collect all the parts. They are a sweet little rifle.

    +1 on the breechplug.
TOW can get you the 13/16 barrel, rib, & underlug components.
Other parts show up on ebay on a semi-regular basis--keep looking
I had an extra trigger guard at one time--I'll look
Keep your eyes open--they do come up.

The breech plug that Track of the Wolf sells has a hook that will mate with your original tang if you have one.
But if not, then Cains Outdoors also sells 2 breech plugs and a tang separately for the Seneca, Cherokee and Patriot pistol. One of Cain's breech plugs has the exact same description as the TOW breech plug but with a $1.14 lower price.

    Tang only:

    9/16 X 18 breech plug:

5/8 X 18 breech plug (out of stock):

Thanx Vet, i'll yank the triggers out o' one o' my Hawkens and try it for fit.

I did see those breech plugs there but no tang.

Man is that ever an understatement. I touched one, a .36, at a LGS a month er 3 back and imediately knew i NEEEDED one.
The one i held is for sale but they're askin way too much.
Thruth is tho, it'll probably cost me more, and take years findin parts, to build one. But it'll be mine ;)

    :what: STEVE !!!!

    You're a saviour !!!!!
I was actualy thinkin o' givin this project up because i searched for days and jist 'bout decided that the tang was a non existent item.

    THank you so much !!!!!

Do you know if the locks from the Seneca, Cherokee and Patriot are the same and if so, was there a flint lock made for either the Cherokee or Patriot ?
I'd sure like to make this Seneca stone sparked.

I think that the Patriot lock fits too but I don't know how TC made the Patriot triggers to work in reverse order.
And those small size locks are probably why I can't recall ever seeing them made as a factory flintlock model.

    Nice Bbl indeed.
    But wrong caliber.:(
    I'm wantin a .36 ;)
    I already got a .45 in a Hawken.
Mmm..but then a .45 Seneca Bbl would give Janet a .45 also in a much lighter rifle.

Oh yeah, thanx for lookin out for me. I sincerley do 'preciate it.

Mine came from the custom shop, has the T/C peep sight, and the barrel has been rebored to 40 cal by T.E. Rayl. I won't post a picture since I don't want the SHYOLDMAN to drool all over his keyboard.:neener:

    Shame neither is .36. :(

    That Cherokee's pretty rough.

'spect a Rice or Colerain in .36 could be dropped into that Seneca tho.
'spose i'm gonna hafta watch that'n.
    Thanx Steve.

    :fire::cuss::banghead::fire::banghead::cuss::mad:

I DON'T BELIEVE THIS !!! I bid on that Seneca that Steve posted the link to above. and i my bid won.
Well, it shoud have. I entered my bid with 30 seconds to go and instead of my bid going in i get an error message saying that i had to have an instant paying method on file to buy.
I sat here all day reading everything that gunbroker had written about how to register, bid, buy and nowhere did it say anything about havin a credit card on file with them.
I had a Seneca literaly at my cyber fingertips only to have it ripped away by a lack on information error.:cuss::cuss::fire::fire::mad::mad::mad:

That sucks! I didn't know that rule. Must be new.
The Seneca stock and barrel that were on ebay went for a total of $600+
There will be another chance. You just have to keep watching.

Still got eye on one. ;)
But it sure would o' been sweet to grab that rifle fer the $399 it sold for.
