.35 cents a round usually... just check the link below it lists about 2 dozen+ sellers updated weekly almost- you may need to register for the message board but this guy has been posting cheapest .308 prices on a weekly basis for years. Sorry to let the cat out of the bag but the moderator of this service deserves a LOT of praise for the time and effort he puts into faithfully supplying us with this info!!!!

My go-to is usually DAG or MEN German surplus but the best bet is to try out a dozen different loads and then stock up and stick with whatever works best. It does vary a little from vintage to vintage even with good stuff but a few rounds downrange should have you within a "minute-of-man" at least. The rule of thumb is don't buy ammo from a country where you wouldn't drink the water and don't buy anything named after animals : )

It really depends on what you get and how much you buy. For american eagle 7.62x51 open tip match its usually right under 22 bucks locally for a 20 rd box. Little cheaper online maybe but you gotta remember to add in shipping cost. It is reloadable brass tho.

The radway green has worked good for me but its not reloadable brass.

Alrighty, one of these your using that newfangled math on, just sayin.

Not really a world traveler here but I have always heard not to drink the water in mexico. I'm sure they are millions of people that have tho and are just fine. I can't really think of much way water is used in the production of ammo so i'm going to go ahead and write this off. Also silver bear, brown bear, and golden tiger have all been pretty good ammo for me. I have had more problems with winchester white box in pistol calibers than I have had in any ammo in any caliber named after an animal.
