The vote happened at 10:44am EST and it was approved on a 10-8 vote count along party lines.

The vote went 10-8 to pass the legislation on to the Senate for debate/vote.

This isn't surprising and we have a new thread in Activism on it outlining actions that can be taken by anyone and everyone.

The really dangerous bill that passed out of committee here is S. 374, not S. 150; if S. 374 passes, it will be near impossible to be a gun owner and not become a felon. It is so poorly written that anytime you let anyone but yourself touch or even have the potential to touch the gun, you run a serious risk of becoming a felon.
