Can we get a re-write? Waaaayyyy too many commas! And run-on sentences...

I am willing to support the effort. However, this is going to important people,; it is not a forum post. Grammar counts.

I'm not one to criticize grammar too much in a post, but I think that this is of a bit more importance. I aplaud the author's sincerity but would rewrite and edit some of the content of the piece. Sometimes, when writing a paragraph, less is more and accurately conveys the intended thought without overly bogging down the reader. Great Effort !!!!!! #7808

I've said this before, but it bears repeating...

Guys, your desire to toss the AW ban onto the ash heap of history is admirable, but you need to WATCH OUT FOR MISDIRECTED, TIME-WASTING EFFORTS.

Internet petitions are useless! They make folks think they are actually doing something when they are not. It's a false sense of accomplishment. We need to focus on the stuff that works!!!

POLITICIANS ONLY CARE ABOUT VOTES AND MONEY.

In-person visits, phone calls, faxes, and snail-mailed, typed, hand signed letters are the way to make your opinion heard, because politicians know that if you expend this much time & effort, you and your family will also vote & contribute to their campaigns (or not)!

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but them's the facts...

    I couldn't agree more.

We've been fighting a Maryland state AWB for the last few weeks and
NY Patriot is DEAD RIGHT. These things work.
