B-Square mount on K98

I finally got around to installing a B-Square scope mount on the rear sight base of my S/42G K98 Mauser. I am going to be using a Tasco AccuDot scope on it. Have any of you had experience with using a Mauser with this type of rear sight mounted scope? I am intrested in hearing how it did or didn't perform for you. Thanks for your input.
