Back From 3-Day Shoot

Went to the National Territorial shoot this weekend. Wife won the Women's
Pistol Agg. and the Men's. She won 1st in all six matches. I just watch. Going
to try to go to Friendship next month. Still can't see to drive or shoot. Here's
one of her 25 yd targets. All the competitors were shooting the same type
of pistols. One even had the same make. Boy she's lucky I didn't shoot. You
all buy that don't you?

See, Phil, the way this works is, well, you kinda gotta be a little careful what you say these days, cause when that eye heals, well, um, it just ain't gonna be pretty. Know what I mean? You've heard about chickens and coming home to roost, right? Kinda like that.

She's gettin' better and better, man, and you and me, well, we're just gettin' older.

You know how she does it don't you? I attached a small photo cell on the
front of the frame that faces the target. When the photo cell "sees" black
the pistol will fire. When it "sees" white, it won't. The wires run from the cell
to the trigger. Simple, but it works.

Just embrace it, Phil; your wife is a better shot. What this means is that, if ever there is truly a "end of society as we know it", it will be good to know that she has your back!

At least that's how I look at it (and strive to keep it that way). Closer to the topic, one of my brothers shoots SASS, along with his wife. She apparently has switched to Holy Black as well, and has taught herself well to "shoot through the smoke". Donny sent out a big email to the rest of us how she just won some big state match handily and plans to move on up; so your wife may well meet her (Squeaky Hare) on the range someday.

OBTW - like you, "Don Coyote" loads what "Squeaky Hare" shoots.

Me, I just pour the powder and ram the balls, and the li'l Mrs and I have some relaxing low-stress fun; although she still prefers her K-frame .357. Because of her back, I saddle her horse, too. On the other hand, she works with the vet and doctors our horses; so it all works out in the end.
