Hey guys figured its time to share what i have been up to with a friend of mine, we are building a form1 can. My friend is the one with the BATF form and its his suppressor, I just have been closely watching and helping him build it.

anyways I figured i would share what we are using for baffles and also to get some input on what you guys think.

The first one is made out of plastic and will only work for a airgun suppressor. the second one however is made from aluminum and is 1'' OD.

We made a video to show how were going to use it

what ya'll think?

A C-cell maglite is 1.03" ID these stepped grommets are 1'' OD so they fit right inside.

I've noticed these storage cups that look very similar to K baffels, but don't have holes in them

Also these solvent trap tubes that have the thread you want on one and center punched only on the other end

Oddly enough, the storage cups fit right into the solvent trap tubes

Last month I filed my F1 to build a 9mm suppressor, when I get my stamp in another 2-3-4 months I'll drill them out.

Last July I filed a F1 to build my first one out of a NAPA 4003 fuel filter tube and used similar storage cups for it ... The only draw back to the 4003 is that it's kind of big but it works great on everything from 45 & 9mm (carbine) to 22LR, .223 and 300 blackout in HV and Sub-sonic

I hadnt seen those before. From what i understand in all the research i did, wouldnt the stepped design work better for .22 & .17 than just a cone shaped baffle?

ill be posting pics and vid soon of our build. good luck with building yours bro.
im also waiting for my form1 to come. i filed it in october:)

what do you guys think of using this for a blast baffle placed very close to the muzzle to help eliminate FRP?
