Bill Clintons old stomping grounds.
Cartridge : Remington 158 grain +P lead hollowpoint ('FBI load') (Load # R38S12)

Firearm : .38 Special revolver with 1 7/8" barrel length.

Calibration : 8.1cm and 601 ft/sec impact velocity.

Average uncorrected penetration was 10.8”

Average corrected penetration was 11.6"

Average recovered diameter was 0.595”

Block pictured was split in two and the bullets pulled by bullet probe, then replaced for photographic purposes.

Over an inch deeper and the same width as the Speer 135+P:

And by all accounts the Buffalo Bore standard pressure 158 is doing damage pretty similar to the Remmie, except the Buffbore version is shedding petals late in the travel and then driving the core about .40 width even deeper than this Remmie.
