Glad everything held together. As we all know, shotguns and grenades have similar working pressures.

Bet it was a JMB design and overbuilt as heck....

so, I shouldn't use my A5 Light 12 (2 3/4 only) with 3 inchers and a pocket knife for extraction?

Unfortunately had to do that twice last year. Once on ducks and once on bunnies. Seemed to work, and I din't think about SAAMI at all...

Note to self: don't mix shells in vests...

:) . I didn't have much experience with 20 gauge before the test - I've used the Mossberg 500 series the most - all in 12 gauge with 3" chambers. It is not possible in my experience, to chamber a dangerously long cartridge. My mistake was assuming that all guns would be designed with this in mind.

Any feedback on the test results?

Myself, I was excited to see the pellets go so deep, even though, once the correction procedure is done (to compensate for the slightly 'weaker' than standard gelatin) the average penetrate may not be over 12".
