In light of the ensuing New Year's celebrations, let's bust out some barbecue gun pics! My prettiest gun is my Detonics Combatmaster in .45!

If I worked at the factory and they were having
The Annual Factory BBQ Picnic ...
I would wear a factory engraved wheelgun.

Well, I don't have a fancy gun for BBQ, usually wearing this when I do go:

Here is where I'm usually found for BBQ:

Be careful around BBQ when wearing a plated gun, as BBQ will take the plating off a fine revolver.

A fair place for BBQ, especially for yankees and women:

And then this has been around awhile:

I can't help but to visualize the barbeque grill that looks like a gigantic revolver every time you Texans mention "barbeque gun".

    629. Grasshorn stags. Name, rank and department engraved. El Paso saddlery rig. About as fancy as I've got.

I have two, one for each hand! In a semi-auto it's my Colt Custom Shop Combat Commander. With a revolver it's going to be my highly polished stainless steel Ruger Vaquero with Bar-S Tru Ivory grips.

Gotta love the attitude of the women that work there. Most probably wouldn't but they are the best.

Yup, no BBQ guns in New York. Have to go before or after an SU game. Standing room only. Staff is great. Food better.

I lived in Brooklyn for almost 50 years and I can't tell you how many times I went to that great place! Truly some if the best food in the world.

My old S&W 29-2 has been with me for many years. A friends family ranch house burned down in 1968. He found the remains of a bed that came up the trail form Missouri in 1861.
A friend in Atlanta, Ga. carved these "Roper" style stocks from that very old wood. They are real special to me. :)

That is real special! Wonder who's bed, where they came from, what they saw and did.

    Will this work?
    Just a lil .45 Colt.

Edit: I miss that knife. A SOG Fielder.

Deaf Smith, Sorry I made a mistake. The fellow who gave me the wood told me the history of the bed. I never wrote it down. I wish I had recorded the story. My best Ole Pal who made these grips passed away in Atlanta, Ga. 2 years ago.
I was Range Officer at the Poison Spider Range near Casper in the 1970s. It seems time has passed as has my memory.
Deaf Smith thanks so much for your considerate message. I appreciate the opportunity to answer you.
