Barrel Leade/Rifling Comparison Pics

For those that have asked, here are some barrel comparisons specific to leade and rifling.

This is Sig 1911R TACPAC barrel. Leade is very short (almost none) with sharp angle for start of rifling. Height of lands is taller than M&P and PT145 barrels.

This is M&P45 barrel. Leade is short with not as sharp angle for start of rifling as Sig 1911.

This is PT145 barrel. Leade is very short but the angle for start of rifling is very gradual and long.

This is Glock 27 barrel. Leade is long and the start of rifling is very gradual with smooth/rounded hill/valley hexagonal rifling.

This is Lone Wolf 40S&W barrel for G27. Leade is long and the start of rifling is very gradual with square cut land/groove rifling.
