I have a Stag 15 rifle on order. It's their "Retro" model which is basically a Plain-Jane A4 with a 20 inch HBAR (chrome lined). This is billed as having a 1/8 twist. The 1/8 seems like a "middle of the road" twist between the more common 1/7 or 1/9. Does it adequately stabilize the heavier bullets?

From what I understand this used to be Stag's "Model 4", with an unchromed, 1/9 twist barrel.

My 1:8 AR15 stabilized my 75 Hornady and 80 SMK bullets all the way out to 600 yards.
