The comment period just ended yesterday.
If they announced a decision today, it'd look like they didn't give a flip and already had their minds made up, now wouldn't it?

They don't make the decision on importation. They make a recommendation to the AG who then makes any decision to include or exclude.
The comment period was to allow the public to rip the pathetic circular arguments used in the dishonest "study" apart so they wouldn't send it to the AG.
