I have the PC version, and it's about average when it comes to realism. It's good fun, and you have lots of equipment to play with, but it's no Red Orchestra.

BF2 is fun but nothing close to reality. The .50 rifle wont go through body armor.

Pretty much every weapon in game has about 1/3 of the real effective range.

The weapons do look good and it is a fun game though.

Its a fun game with great graphics but very frustrating that the weapons are so underpowered. It takes about 3 shots to kill with a .50 sniper! AA heat seeking missiles rarely hit their targts and when they do the planes don't die!
Etc. The G36 is one of the weekest weapons. On and on-I quit playing because the weapons are so weak.

The aiming\hit system is completely jacked.

BF2 is a good time. Not to realistic though especially the hits sometimes its a little annoying but its a vid game. You want realism you would be better off with Rainbow Six series games. If your going to play PM me and I will play with you.

I am really tired of discussion of video games on a firearms forum.

Justin is on vacation, call me the new buzzkill.
