That'd be great!

I would love the opportunity to meet some fellow THR members (and shoot their guns :D ).

What ranges do we have around here? I know of these:

Los Altos Rod and Gun Club (Skyline--Santa Cruz Mountains)
Metcalf (S San Jose)
Chabot (Oakland?)
Laguna Seca (Monterey)

I would like to attend a Bay Area shoot. I can't go on the third Saturday any time, or on April 15th in the evening. Saturday nights I usually shoot steel at San Leandro. Is Sunday an option for anyone?

Call me down for Laguna Seca (Monterey), but if I'm going that far I'd probably ditch the guns and just ride my suzuki around the track all day :)

How about we have a THR track day :)

Due to a new job position, I have weekends off. I should be able to attend.

BTW, which two people hate children? ;)

Put the pistols in a tail-bag.

I'll ride my CBR929 if it'll start. :D That poor neglected bike gets no love at all.

Sundays work for me as long as I can cover my shift at the indoor gun range I work at.

Call me a fair-weather shooter, but I believe we recently had snow on Skyline
Yeah I'm all over that - I do poorly in cold weather. Shivering fingers making for large groups... then again we do seem to spend most of our time blowing stuff up at the tin can range.

Chabot or Los Altos are the ranges to go to. Laguna Seca has an hourly rate which is kinda lame. Metcalf on 200yrd days is IMO the best range in the area, but the 100yrd or less range have annoying shooting benches and would be too cramped for a get together.

Regardless of what range, a range day is allways fun. Even if it means firing a M1919 with shivering fingers or struggling in the rain to light a BBQ. Those who where at Chabot last time know what I mean. :D

4/15-4/16 probably is not good. It is tax weekend. :)

Mine is pretty open. The weekend of 4/22 is open for me.

can ex bay area gunnies show up?

It would be a good excuse for me to get a good burrito and pick up some supplies in China Town as well

3/18 sounds good, if it does not snow. ;)

I have a couple of new ones since last time.

I assume Los Altos R&G again?

I'm down for the 18th at Los Altos.

I must have missed this thread, and instead started another one -- I'm going to be going with a bunch of folks to Chabot, and all of THR is invited!

BBQ and M1919 goodness! :)

The 18th will work for me also. I'm stoked as this is my first Bay Area shoot.

I'll bring all the big boys. Cooper 223 AI. HS in 260. Winchester 1895 in .405 Win. Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70. My tricked out 10/22. Browning Gold 12 gauge.

Do I need the Browning 12 gauge O/U? BT-99 trap gun? Winchester 20 gauge O/U?
