I placed an order with Missouri Bullets yesterday. I received a note from Brad at MBC that they are doing fine but are very busy with a very high number of orders. Their website says to allow extra time for orders to be shipped. Brad also said to say hello to the THR members for him.

I like their bullets but their packaging isn't good. After I received my last order I emailed them. No contact back. I was civil and nice. Probably won't use them again. I then placed an order with Gallant. Hopefully they'll do better.

What was wrong with the packaging? Just curious.

Thanks for posting the info! I ordered from them a couple days ago. I came to the conclusion that the few cents saved per bullet by casting, sizing and coating my own just isn't worth it. I enjoy it from time to time, and Still cast stuff that places like them don't sell, but for the most part I just buy from them.

LNK...The 500 cowboy #1 45 Colt bullets were put in a small (approx 5"X5") box. No big deal. The small box, which had some hefty weight, was placed in a bigger priority mail box. The small box was not centered in the priority mail box but occupied one end. Cardboard filler was placed around it to keep it from shifting. The result was the bigger priority mail box was out of balance because of the weight all on one end. The priority mail box looked liked it had been dropped or thrown with resultant crumpled cardboard damage. The small box containing the bullets had split open. Thankfully only 2 bullets had escaped and were loose in the bigger box. No bullet loss. If the smaller box of bullets had been centered in the bigger box it would not have been out of balance and not prone to dropping.
