Anyone know if Ruger's producing their own barrels on all of their rifle lines currently? Curious, with this one as it's 5R rifling, which is different than their other bolt action lines if I'm correct.

It doesn't have a threaded barrel, but I really like the 18" long one my Model 77 MKII RSI "International" carbine has, chambered in .308 Winchester. I also like having iron sights backing up the Leupold VariX II, 1x4 powered scope I have mounted on it. A great handling little rifle for hunting in heavy cover.

Have the Frontier 308, very short, very compact, very loud. But I love it with cast bullets for training youth. Ruger 77s are the new M70s. And I do have a pre64.

Very pretty....I have such the hots for a 77 in 357....just not sure if I want to play the Ruger lotto.
