That is a really pretty M&P. Jack the dog leaves no surprises with his auctions. Those are about as clear of pictures that could be shown. I fell into a nice M&P just about as nice as that one at a local show. Except it was a 2". I got it FTF for $275.00.

You probably "need" the one you're looking at.;)

    That's a real nice S-prefix Postwar!

It is so great to find a nice specimen . . . and real nice ones are pretty hard to get!!! Good luck, and GO FOR IT!

SOME MORE EYE PORN FOR THE POST-OP BOY . . .

Here's an early C-prefix post war that I got this year. It was made in 1950, just a little past that transition period.

Reality snuck up an bit me square on the arrears yesterday when I finally put together my taxes. $2300 or so to Uncle Barack, off set a little by $600 or so back from Aunt Nikki Haley. Plus, it's up to $376, so it's no longer a steal, though surely still a good price if you're sweating as you look it over... :uhoh:

I see the bids have continued to climb.
That's a nice gun, but it's gettin' to be on the pretty expensive side.

I wouldn't dig myself in too deep on that one. There are more out there.

I've bought from Jack before, great to do biz with. Nice looking M&P. I'm fond of the old ones.

The only problem with that gun is I would feel bad putting it in a holster regularly. It is about the perfect M&P for my tastes. But wow, that price has shot up.

American Express card, "Don't leave home without it!" I'm sure that Jack will be willing to work with you.
During your recovery, hopefully, you can enjoy the local shrimp and grits.
