Been away from here for a while, what's the best new holster out?

Mom passed, @ 97, and a woman driving on the wrong side into oncoming traffic, hit me at 50mph. Got some work ahead. But I see a lot of these "universal" holster , setups, do they work for anyone?

I'm also sorry to hear of your loss of your Mom and for your terrible accident. My condolences and prayers go out to you and your family.

On the topic of universal holsters I really don't like the "one size fits all" approach to carrying a lot of different guns in one holster. I much prefer each holster I get fits one specific gun. This way I can be sure that it fits properly and securely and that I have complete confidence that it will perform like I want it to when I need it to.

Thank you all. I saw these holsters that are kind of all over the internet that supposedly fit any handgun. They have a Velcro strap attached so you don't need a belt. Kind of utilitarian, going for about $70.00, thought maybe someone picked one up. I am just now sending a bellyband cheapo, back to Amazon along with a Pachmayer grip for my 45 Shield. Two garbage things that I am surprised Amazon carried. The grip was in the wrong box, it was for the wrong gun. The bellyband was so cheaply made that the clip fell off for the safety strap. You get what you pay for. The idea was to get something other than my usual pocket holsters, because of my disk problems, I have problems wearing a belt, it cuts in after a while. So it's back to the Kydex clip and pocket jobs.
