I love my new bellyband from Ace Case. Enough that I'm soon going to get a second one so that I'll have this white one in the size that fits my ribs and waist and a black one in the size that will fit my hips so that I can wear the full range of my preferred clothing -- mainly skirts and fitted shirts in both woven and knitted materials.
Its comfortable, doesn't roll up the way I thought it might since its one of the 5" wide ones, the velcro edges don't poke (I'm wearing a tank top or camisole under it), and stays where I put it.
I do need to make some modifications though. The "universal" holster is undoubtedly good for compact and medium guns, but my tiny, MPA protector sinks in too deeply so I'm going to re-sew it a bit smaller (I have access to commercial sewing machines at work and can do it inconspicuously on my break). And I'm going to convert the spare magazine holster into a horizontal draw holster, adding a velcro retaining strap, so that I can still wear it around my ribs and draw when it gets too chilly to wear low necklines.
Any thoughts on other ways to get the most out of my bellyband holster?
PS, I really would prefer to have a spare magazine holster and a horizontal draw option both, but this little .380 mouse gun doesn't even come with a spare magazine and isn't designed for combat reloads and this brand of bellyband doesn't have 2 holsters.
