Benchmade 9051SBK AFO II fakes on ebay?

I see a number of sellers on ebay offering these autos, new in the box, for around $150. Looking on the internet, I haven't seen any specific chatter about there being fakes of this model. The pictures look legitimate.

Does anyone know if there was a blowout sale on them somewhere and people are reselling them or are these fakes?

Per the rules and federal law, yes. But people still do it by posting the knife and it's model name, but not saying anywhere in the listing that it's an auto.

Sure, but they tend to get caught quickly.

That is a LOT of NIB looking AFO IIs on ebay at one time!

I tend to haunt the china eBay sites that sell a lot of fakes, and I have never seen an afo clone. Never buy a zt, microtech, or Spyderco off eBay though. SO many clones.

I got the knife and it's the real deal as far as I can tell. I compared it to my original AFO and the build quality is the same. The seller is a dealer so I guess Benchmade must have had an inventory reduction.
