Anyone have one? Like? Dislike?

I just got to handle a couple Benchmades with the Axis lock last weekend and I was just about drooling all over them, and the Griptilian looks to be the least expensive way to get a knife with the Axis lock.

There's a chance that the Mini Griptillian is the best knife value on the planet. The "cheaper" handle material in no way diminishes it's utility. It's actually preferred by many.

Like it? Try LOVE it!

I think it's the best thing of it's kind out there. The Axis lock speaks for itself in strength, and ease of operation. The handles have a bit of 'belly' to them which fills in the hand like no other folder this side of an Opinel. I have the original blade profile, large model. However, I might consider getting another in the drop-point version........just because.:p I e-mailed them requesting an upscale version with G-10 or Micarta, and ATS or BG blade steels. I really hope they decide to do it.

LOVE it. This thing has quickly become my constant companion, clipped in the 'coin pocket' of my jeans.

Can't wait to get my next shipment in a large box... nothing better than whipping out the 556 and opening that box in two seconds, flat.

I love that this knife looks so innocent when clipped in... barely even looks threatening.

Like. Got the large Griptilian about 2 weeks ago. I've been using a mini AFCK George gave me last year, but I've alway been uneasy about the liner lock.

Alternative locks

That's a good point about the Axis. I've also got a REKAT, and I've even had it apart. I'm confident in it, also. The CRKT has the LAWKS system. That's a marked improved to any liner-lock, AFAIC; however, it's sloppier in fit, slower to maneuver, and can be forgotten if you've not yet 'ingrained' it into your handling.
