Okay guys. I have learned a lot about shotgins quickly and need an opinion on the one Im gonna get. I narrowed it down to the Benelli Nova pump (in black) OR the Daly Field hunter autoloader in black. 28" barrels..
For around same price I can get either. Whats everyones opinions????? Im looking to skeet and maybe hunt. But mostly skeet shoot..
Waiting your replies!

I hunt and I've been known to be a bit less than sure footed. It has something to do with reversed hereddity. I get it from my son.:p
I haven't fallen or taken a swim with a firearm yet but when it happens I'd rather have a pump than an auto loader. I'd have no problem rinsing the mud off a pump and using it for the rest of the day.
A mucked up auto is sure to end the day afield in most cases.
Therefore - NOVA!
just my 2 cents.

Lucky those Benelli's are Italian. You know what "No va" translates to from spanish, don't you?:neener:

I think "no va" is somewhat incorrect. I may be totally wrong.

Unfortunately, verbs (as do most words) do not and cannot translate literally from Spanish to English. Verbs in Spanish take the form of the subject of the sentence (IO). In English, "I go" and "we go" is the same thing. "go" is used for both. Spanish isn't like that.

"va" is the third person singular (el, ella, usted) present tense form of the verb "ir"...and translates can be used in the following examples
El va a mi casa. (he goes to my house)
Ella va a mi casa. (she goes to my house)

Informal commands, when positive, generally the verb with the last letter lopped off, such as hablar (to talk) = habla (talk!)

The verb "ir" is irregular.

Informal commands, when negative, take the subjunctive (opposite of normal ending) ending.

Thus,
(regular, -ar verb)
habla = talk!

no hables = don't talk!

and...
(irregular, -ir verb)
ve = go!

no vayas = don't go (as the poster in question intended)
