Benjamin 30/30 c02 carbine repeater air rifle

Hi. I am trying to figure out what kind of c02 cartridge will work in this old gun that was my grandafathers. the 12 gram does not fit. Do 8 grams have a longer neck than do the 12's?

I think you have correctly surmised that the old Benjamen's used 8 gram cylinders.

Unfortunately, they are no longer used in Co2 guns and are very hard to find.

You might look for them in a kitchen store.
They are still used for seltzer bottle charging.

I can do that but I still wonder if I am missing a peice of the gun since the 12 gram seemed not even close to fitting. Is the 8 gram that different?
