Anyone here own or have any experience shooting the little 84 Beretta Cheetah .22 cal? Everytime I see one of these I am taken with the idea of buying one, just because they are such a handy size, appear well made and seem to be an excellent design. Never shot one or talked to anyone who has, hence the question.

Perhaps you might mean the 87 Cheetah? I have lusted after one for years, but could never justify the price. I wound up going with a ANIB Bersa 23, which does the same job quite nicely.

I think you'er right. It is the 87, but not the heavy slide version which is what I thought the 87 was until I double checked.

I like the little "plinker", for lack of a better description. The one with the open top slide and the cocked & locked safety with DA first shot option.
